testing new jabber features for Seesmic

Johann was at the Seesmic Paris Meetup today and one of the things he was doing was showing off some of the work being done on the Jabber side of Seesmic.

Seesmic has an “events” bot that you can send it basic commands (track, untrack and list) - from the bot’s help message:

track command has the following options:
“track item” by default track will assume text
“track text value” where value is any text value
“track group group-name” where group-name is currently only ‘public.timeline’
“track media media-type” where media-type is currently only ‘flv’
“track who username”
“track tag tag-list” where tag-list is a list of tag names

Basically this is a stock Jabber front-end to what will become part of the PubSub service.

The bot is still being worked on so any configurations you define could easily disappear, but for now you can reach the bot at the JID events@jabber.seesmic.com
