Today Loic demoed Seesmic at DEMO 08 today and one of the main features that was shown was the new Thread feature. Basically on any thumbnail you will see a count that shows how many replies have been made to the thread that the thumbnail is a part of.
The amount of posting was crazy when the new version was rolled out - within an hour we were average 200 videos an hour and easily exceeded 300 for two hours straight!
Another new feature is more of the items in the profile are now live links - so the website item is a link now.
But by far the biggest feature is that the Flash client is both smaller and faster so it’s less painful to the browser environment.
The thread feature adds some new items to the returned JSON data - more on that later
